The latest entry in the iconic horror franchise, SILENT HILL f, is finally within reach. Uniana has announced that the PS5 pre-orders for SILENT HILL f kick off on the 16th, with the official launch set for the 25th.

SILENT HILL f transports us away from the familiar Western locales of the series, opting instead for the unsettling quiet of 1960s rural Japan. We follow the story of Hinako Shimizu, a high school student living in Ebisugaoka, whose mundane life unravels when a mysterious fog rolls in, forcing her to fight for survival in a town that has spiralled into a nightmare.

The game leans heavily into psychological horror, rendered in crisp 4K. You will find that the limited visibility—thanks to those classic fog-drenched corners and oppressive darkness—cranks the tension up to eleven. To keep you on edge, the team has implemented 3D spatial audio that makes every sound feel disturbingly close.

The development is a bit of an all-star affair. The narrative is penned by Ryukishi07, the mind behind When They Cry, while the unsettling creature and character designs are the work of Kera, who previously cut their teeth on horror titles like Death Mark and NG. For the audio landscape, the legendary Akira Yamaoka returns to craft the 'Otherworld' sounds, joined by Kensuke Inage who handles the soundscape for the 'back world'.

If you are planning to grab a physical copy, pre-orders start this Tuesday the 16th.
