On the 19th, Intel and NVIDIA announced a multi-generational collaboration to co-develop custom data centre and PC products, aiming to accelerate applications and workloads across hyperscale, enterprise, and consumer markets.

The two companies are focusing on integrating NVIDIA and Intel architectures seamlessly via NVIDIA NVLink. By combining NVIDIA's AI and accelerated computing expertise with Intel's industry-leading CPU technology and x86 ecosystem, the partnership aims to deliver cutting-edge solutions to their customers.

In the data centre sector, Intel will manufacture custom x86 CPUs for NVIDIA, which NVIDIA will then integrate into its own AI infrastructure platforms for market supply.

As for personal computing, Intel plans to produce x86 system-on-chips (SoC) that incorporate NVIDIA RTX GPU chiplets. These new x86 RTX SoCs are expected to power a variety of PCs that demand world-class CPU and GPU integration.

NVIDIA is set to invest $5 billion (approximately 6.9792 trillion KRW) in Intel common stock at a purchase price of $23.28 (approximately 32,400 KRW) per share. This investment is subject to customary closing conditions, including regulatory approvals.

NVIDIA founder and CEO Jensen Huang remarked, "AI is driving a new industrial revolution, reinventing every layer of the computing stack from silicon to systems and software.
