SD Gundam G Generation Eternal, which celebrated its half-year anniversary since launching this April, is planning a massive expansion of its storyline through the end of the year. The game will roll out content ranging from Mobile Suit Gundam UC to Mobile Suit Gundam: Hathaway's Flash, introducing a host of new units and characters.

These details were unveiled during a livestream on the official G Generation YouTube channel, which aired on the 23rd at 8 PM. Producer Shogo Kojima appeared in the video to walk us through the major updates and events. The half-year anniversary update kicks off in earnest on September 30, with story additions continuing through the second half of the year, alongside a suite of new growth mechanics and quality-of-life improvements.

Starting September 30, content for Mobile Suit Gundam UC and Mobile Fighter G Gundam (latter half) will be unlocked. The Mobile Suit Gundam UC expansion includes new units like the Full Armor Unicorn Gundam (Destroy Mode), Banshee Norn (Destroy Mode), and Silver Bullet, plus new characters such as Banagher Links and Riddhe Marcenas. Mobile Fighter G Gundam (latter half) adds units like the God Gundam and Nobel Gundam, along with characters Allenby Beardsley and Ulube Ishikawa.

The story updates don't stop there. From mid-to-late October, Mobile Suit Gundam 0083: Stardust Memory (Part 2) arrives, featuring new units like the Gundam GP03 Stamen and characters such as Karius Otto. Late October through early November brings Mobile Suit Gundam: Iron-Blooded Orphans (latter half) with the Gundam Barbatos Lupus Rex, while mid-to-late November introduces Mobile Suit Gundam: The Blue Destiny, headlined by the Blue Destiny Unit 1.

Finally, this winter, Mobile Suit Gundam: Hathaway's Flash will debut, launching with the Xi Gundam and Penelope as new units. A special scenario titled 'Revolutionaries' will also be released, detailing the events of Hathaway's Flash. Spanning seven chapters, it covers the history of those who challenged the Earth Federation up to the year 105 of the Universal Century.

A massive influx of new units is on the way. New UR units include the Unicorn Gundam (Destroy Mode/Awakening) EX, God Gundam (EX), and Gundam F91 (EX). Six new SSR units—such as the Geara Zulu (Angelo Sauper Custom) and Dragon Gundam (Super Mode)—and two SR units like the Geara Doga (Full Frontal Custom) were also announced. New UR/SSR supporters, Otto Mitas & Nahel Argama (Londo Bell) and Bill Dodson & Rewloola (Sleeves), will also join the fray. To accommodate these additions, the maximum unit inventory will increase from 1,000 to 1,200 after maintenance on September 24.

Furthermore, the 'Enemy Raid' event starting September 30 will feature the Shining Gundam (Super Mode) and Byarlant Custom Unit 02. In mid-October, a new content mode called 'History Stage' will be added, allowing players to revisit past story events. Additionally, new stages will open in Eternal Road (Normal/Hard) that restrict entry to specific units and characters.

Growth systems are also getting a significant boost. The 'SP' transformation, previously limited to units, will now be available for characters. Characters transformed into SP will have their level cap increased to 100, and lower-rarity characters will gain access to new skills and abilities. Reaching level 80 will also unlock new traits for these characters starting in mid-October. By winter, an 'SSP' transformation will be introduced for units that have already completed their SP transformation, reached the max level, and maxed out their limit breaks.

Several other quality-of-life improvements are on the horizon. After the maintenance on the 24th, development materials obtainable from main stages will increase. Drop rates in normal battles will be set to 100%, and the yield from secret battles will double from one to two items. In mid-October, the unit encyclopedia will be revamped, and new missions linked to max-level and max-limit-break units will be added.

New paid content is also arriving. A 'Sound Pack Vol. 1' featuring 51 tracks will go on sale starting September 30. In mid-October, a subscription service, 'Eternal Pass,' will launch, including five Premium Supply Tickets, one extra attempt for reinforcement stages, and five limited-time AP packs (valid for 30 days).

To commemorate the half-year anniversary, several events are being held. The highlight is the free unit supply. From September 30 at noon to October 31 at 11:59 AM, players can use special tickets to perform up to 46 consecutive free unit draws, with two UR-grade units guaranteed. Completing half-year anniversary panel missions will also grant more free draw tickets, and finishing all missions will award 3,000 diamonds.

Other events include a login bonus offering up to 3,000 diamonds for seven days of play, limited-time character requests featuring major cast members, and a web event where players can select one SSR, SR, and R unit from a pool of over 200.

Finally, new physical merchandise was introduced. Products including the G-Frame FA Dragoon Strike Gundam and three new G Generation Gundam models are launching. Furthermore, the 'Shop Battle 2025 Season 2,' starting in October, will distribute G Generation collaboration card packs as participation souvenirs, which include G Generation Premium Supply Tickets.
