Daewon Media is set to open a 'Crayon Shin-chan Bakery Cafe' themed after the iconic character Crayon Shin-chan on the 26th, located on the 2nd floor of Lotte Department Store in Jamsil, Seoul.

The venue offers a space and a menu inspired by famous characters like Crayon Shin-chan, Buriburi Zaemon, and Shiro. Furthermore, Daewon Media will be exclusively showcasing the original 'Crayon Bakery' merchandise, which was previously produced solely for the Japanese domestic market, here in Korea.

The cafe, featuring approximately 50 seats, serves up quirky treats such as the 'Crayon Shin-chan Hip-dance Cream-puccino', the 'Buriburi Zaemon Einspanner' adorned with the character's face, and various character cookie sets featuring Crayon Shin-chan, Buriburi Zaemon, Shiro, and Action Mask. Inside, guests can also find photo zones equipped with FRP figures of Crayon Shin-chan, Buriburi Zaemon, and Wani, along with mirror selfie spots.

Daewon Media is currently expanding its character IP-based spatial ventures, using shopping malls in locations like Yongsan, Jamsil, Incheon, and Busan as hubs. This cafe is part of their broader strategy to grow their offline presence throughout the latter half of the year.

A representative from Daewon Media stated, "We have designed this space so that it can be enjoyed by both devoted fans of Crayon Shin-chan and everyone visiting Jamsil," adding, "Starting with the Crayon Shin-chan Bakery Cafe, we intend to continue expanding our integrated experiential business that bridges IP and retail."
