Dongjak-gu, Seoul, and the Daebang Youth Center are set to host the '2025 Dongjak-gu Youth e-Sports Tournament - MOVE: Dongjak' this October at the Daebang Youth Center.

The competition features 'Valorant' for middle and high schoolers, and 'Brawl Stars' for primary school students. The tournament will host 32 teams of five for the middle/high school division (ages 14-19), and 32 teams of three for the primary division (ages 9-13). Winning teams will receive institutional awards and prizes.

Applications are open until October 14. A bracket draw and a game literacy session for the youth are scheduled for 1 PM on October 18 at the Daebang Youth Center 'Bunker'. The preliminary rounds will follow via Discord on October 25 at 1 PM.

The finals will take place on November 1, starting at 1 PM at the 'Bunker', and are open to all local residents. Alongside the matches, there will be side events including cheer-plank making and a stamp tour.

Park Il-ha, the Mayor of Dongjak-gu, stated, "Through games that youth enjoy, we hope to foster a healthy gaming culture and the spirit of fair play, while promoting communication and harmony among peers."
