A brand new class is arriving, one that leverages the spectral to debuff foes and seize the upper hand.

Webzen announced on the 16th that it is unleashing the 'Wraith Caster', a new advanced class for MU Origin 3. As the fourth sub-class for the Summoner, the Wraith Caster’s primary toolkit revolves around summoning spectral entities.

The wraiths summoned by this class don't just deal damage; they also ramp up incoming damage for enemies while restoring the caster’s own health. They’re also quite a nuisance in combat, thanks to a powerful crowd-control ability that binds nearby foes through 'wraith bonds.' With the added utility to heal nearby allies and purge debuffs, it’s a surprisingly robust support pick.

Alongside the new class, we’re seeing a significant content expansion. The existing 'Constellation' and 'Constellation Origin' systems are getting a second page, plus 12 new 'Silver Constellation Statues' to adorn them. Within the Constellation Origin, players can socket four origins per statue, unlocking new 'Divine Holy Damage' and 'Divine Dark Damage' stats via the new page.

To top it off, the 'Electric Set'—a new Archangel costume—has arrived, offering fresh set bonuses. If you fancy a bit of competition, the ninth season of the team-based Arena League is scheduled to kick off on the 23rd.

Naturally, Webzen is running a commemorative event to keep you busy. Collect 'Maple Leaves' by slaying monsters to trade for seasonal rewards like autumn-themed titles, profile icons, and mount costumes. There’s also a web-based attendance event running until the 29th for those who enjoy freebies.
