Dynamis One, the developer behind the 'Project KV' controversy, has been referred to the prosecution.

According to a report by Yonhap News on the 17th, the Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency's Industrial Technology Security Investigation Unit has referred Dynamis One CEO Park Byung-lim and other key figures to the Seoul Central District Prosecutors' Office without detention. CEO Park is accused of unauthorized removal of data from an unreleased Nexon Games project following his departure.

Dynamis One is a startup established by Park Byung-lim, the former Japanese server PD of Nexon Games' hit title 'Blue Archive', along with other core developers. Their debut project, 'Project KV', which was unveiled last August, faced controversy over its similarity to Blue Archive, leading the studio to announce the cancellation of the project just one week after its reveal.

Following a police raid on Dynamis One's headquarters on February 24th, investigators concluded that key personnel had leaked unreleased project data while leaving Nexon Games. The investigation focused on whether this data was utilized in their actual game development. During the raid, CEO Park claimed, "While it is difficult to disclose specific details as the matter is under investigation, much of the alleged content is far from the truth."

A Dynamis One representative stated regarding the referral to the prosecution, "We will diligently participate in the upcoming legal proceedings." Meanwhile, a spokesperson for Nexon Games told Gamemeca, "Nexon Games intends to cooperate fully with all future procedures."
