October has arrived, and with it, a spooky hotel theme has checked into Cats & Soup.

Neowiz announced on the 24th that it has released the October seasonal update for Cats & Soup. The core of this update is a renewal of the forest content. A 'New Forest' has been added, distinct from the existing one, and a forest expansion system has been introduced, allowing cats to travel to other maps via connecting passages.

Along with the forest expansion, the 'Spooky Forest' has been unveiled. It features theme-specific special effects, exclusive NPCs, and hidden easter eggs to enhance immersion. Players can earn 'Bat' items by playing this theme, which can be exchanged for limited-edition costumes at the theme-exclusive shop.

Until the 3rd, the main concept 'Spooky Pumpkin House' and the sub-concept 'Mystery Hotel' will be applied. The Wanderer's Workshop shop has been updated with various new items, including 4 costumes, 15 mini-room furniture pieces, and 2 lamps themed around the 'Spooky Forest' and 'Mystery Hotel'. Additionally, through the 'One Week at the Mystery Hotel' attendance event running until the 6th, all users who log in will receive bellboy uniform costumes for both adult and kitten cats.

Furthermore, a new mini-game, 'Ingredient Sequencing', has been added to provide a casual play rhythm, and 'Mysterious Fairy Tale Star Season 2' offers new rewards for stargazing. Players can also find new decorative items based on the 'Pied Piper Cat' concept, which captures a fairy-tale sensibility.

Meanwhile, to improve convenience, Neowiz has added an automatic cloud save feature, graphics optimization modes tailored to device specifications, and a landscape mode for taking screenshots. Limited-time decorative packages including costumes, friends, and props reflecting the October seasonal concept are also available.
