Neowiz is teaming up with the gaming community platform Game Jolt to host a global indie game contest.

On the 31st, Neowiz announced its collaboration with Game Jolt for the 'Narrative Game Jam.' Game Jolt is a community platform where gamers and content creators worldwide share their own photos, videos, and more. This game jam is a contest designed to encourage game development and discover creative titles.

This year, the 'Narrative Game Jam' focuses on the theme of 'narrative' and will run until November 10th. Participants can create an original story-driven game and post it on the Game Jolt platform within the specified period. Three outstanding entries will be selected to receive a total prize pool of $5,000.

This contest is part of Neowiz's strategy to discover indie games. It is expected to create synergy with the ongoing 'Neowiz Quest' competition. The application deadline for Neowiz Quest is January 16th of next year.

Neowiz Co-CEO Kim Seung-chul stated, "Our collaboration with Game Jolt will be an opportunity to show that games are more than just entertainment, but excellent creative works," adding, "I look forward to seeing fresh indie games that demonstrate the power of narrative through this game jam."
