PU, the champion of the Summoners War World Arena Championship 2025 (SWC2025), which concluded on the 1st (local time), has shared his thoughts on the victory.

Com2uS announced on the 4th that PU, representing the Asia-Pacific region, has been crowned the world champion at the SWC2025 World Finals. SWC2025 is the definitive event to determine the ultimate master of Summoners War: Sky Arena. Following regional qualifiers and main matches held until October, the final showdown took place in Paris, France, on November 1st. Out of 12 regional representatives, PU emerged victorious after a series of intense clashes.

PU’s journey began in the loser’s bracket of the Asia-Pacific qualifier, where he secured his ticket to the main stage. He proved his mettle by winning the Asia-Pacific Cup for two consecutive years. At the World Finals, he cut through the competition like a hot knife through butter, defeating heavyweights like LEST, PANDALIK3, and RAXXAZ to hoist the trophy. His victory lap, marked by his trademark radiant smile and a triumphant lift of the cup, sent the crowd into a frenzy.

Before the match, PU stated, "As a representative of Vietnam, I wanted to bring victory to the local Summoners War community." Reflecting on his win, he remarked, "It still feels like a dream. Being a Summoner for seven years, winning the World Finals has been a long-held ambition. I’ve been buoyed by support from everyone, and my friends are here with me today." He added, "My friends and fans gave me the confidence to stay focused during the heat of the battle."

PU’s road to the top wasn't without its stumbles. He reached the World Finals last year but was knocked out in the quarter-finals by Europe’s ISMOO. "I was nervous because it was my first World Finals," he admitted. "It was a valuable experience that taught me a lot, which gave me much more confidence this year."

What really caught the audience's eye was PU's innovative deck-building and his masterful handling of Runes and Artifacts. "Many Summoners stick to specific elements or meta monsters," he explained regarding his tactical choices. "Since it was the World Finals, I wanted to show something different by picking underrated monsters to catch my opponents off guard."

PU remains a massive fan of LEST, whom he has cited as his most respected player for two years running. After defeating his idol, he noted, "LEST was the toughest competitor I faced, and beating him made me realise that the championship was within reach." He also highlighted the match between TAKUZO10 and LEST as the most entertaining to watch, adding, "TAKUZO10 always tries new strategies that really make you think."

For PU, this constant cycle of strategising is the driving force behind the charm of Summoners War. "Every time I play, I get new ideas, and I spend a lot of time researching and training," he said. "Summoners War is my life and my daily routine." He plans to spend his prize money on quality time with his family, who provided the support that helped him secure the trophy.

The global festival for Summoners, SWC2025, has now officially drawn its curtains with the conclusion of these World Finals.
