gamescom is set to participate in the G-STAR 2025 B2B area, held at BEXCO in Busan from the 13th to the 15th. Through this participation, the organization aims to increase accessibility for domestic companies and introduce the gamescom application process and key programs.

gamescom is the world's largest gaming trade fair, held annually in Cologne, Germany, every August. It is a hub where industry professionals, gamers, and media from around the world gather to showcase a wide range of games, from AAA titles to indie gems. The event covers gaming PCs, consoles, VR/AR devices, gaming hardware, peripherals, and even OTT services.

gamescom operates both B2B and B2C sections. Beyond booth participation, it offers various promotional options, including the pre-show 'Opening Night Live (ONL)', the gamescom Awards, the Event Arena for exclusive large-scale showcases, and sponsorship or advertising opportunities throughout the venue.

This year, a record-breaking 1,568 companies from 72 countries participated in gamescom. The roster included Blizzard, Nintendo, THQ Nordic, Sega, LEGO, Netflix, Disney, and Level Infinite. South Korea was also well-represented with 30 entities, including Neowiz, Netmarble, Samsung Electronics, NCSoft, Kakao Games, Krafton, Pearl Abyss, Hyundai Motor Company, and a joint pavilion from the Korea Creative Content Agency.

The event attracted 357,000 visitors from 128 countries, with 34,000 business attendees. Notably, there was a significant increase in B2B visitors from North America (USA and Canada). Additionally, 4,260 media personnel and influencers from 56 countries participated. As of October 2025, digital content related to gamescom has surpassed 1.1 billion cumulative views, with 'Opening Night Live' recording 91.5 million views.
