Assemblyman Cho Seung-rae (Yuseong-gu, Daejeon, Democratic Party of Korea) will host a forum titled 'Comprehensive Revision of the Game Industry Promotion Act: What’s Inside?' at 2 PM on the 18th in Seminar Room 1 of the National Assembly Members' Office Building.

The event was organized to share the key details of the comprehensive revision to the Game Industry Promotion Act, which Cho proposed in September, and to gather diverse feedback.

Assemblyman Cho will personally explain the intent and key contents of the proposed revision. The panel will include Lee Seung-hoon, Director of the Korea Game Law and Policy Society; Lee Yong-min, an attorney at Yulchon LLC; Kim Jong-il, Head of the Game Center at Hwawoo Law Firm; and Choi Jae-hwan, Director of the Game Content Industry Division at the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism.

Cho stated, "As this is the first comprehensive revision proposed in about 20 years since the enactment of the Game Industry Promotion Act, it contains significant changes and has garnered high interest, which is why we organized this public forum." He added, "I will strive to ensure that the various opinions shared during this forum are appropriately reflected as the bill is discussed in the National Assembly."
