NetEase Games and its subsidiary, Everstone Studio, have officially launched their martial arts open-world RPG, Where Winds Meet, as of the 15th. To mark the occasion, a new trailer has been released.

Where Winds Meet is an open-world RPG deeply rooted in authentic martial arts, boasting AI-driven NPCs and a high degree of player freedom. Players will venture through a world based on real history, covering locations like 'Qinghe' and 'Kaifeng'. Expect to interact with over 10,000 NPCs, discover more than 1,200 artifacts, and master a real-time combat system that leans heavily on parrying.

The new trailer, clocking in at approximately 2 minutes and 45 seconds, emphasizes visual flair, direction, and narrative depth. It captures the vastness of the open world—spanning forests, meadows, cities, and ancient temples—with a cinematic eye, bolstered by meticulous lighting, shadows, and a sophisticated color palette.

The footage introduces key characters such as Zheng E (Changping Granary), the Drunken Master (Jinglin Garden), the Lion Dance brothers (Shenge Village), Weng Yan (Jinglin Garden), Hei Zaishen, and Tian Ya (Buxian Temple), each accompanied by text hinting at their unique skills and backstories. This provides a glimpse into the emotional currents and the structural framework of the game's plot.
