Shift Up has officially signed a publishing agreement with Tencent for its upcoming title, 'Project Spirits'.

Project Spirits is a subculture game developed for PC, consoles, and mobile. Tencent will handle global publishing, while its subsidiary, Yongxing Interactive, will participate as a co-developer. Yongxing Interactive is composed of industry veterans specializing in ACG (anime, comic, and games) subculture titles.

Shift Up has been accelerating development to target the next-generation subculture market, leveraging the development expertise and production capabilities gained from titles such as Goddess of Victory: NIKKE and Stellar Blade.

In this process, the company decided to strengthen its strategic partnership with Tencent, including both publishing and joint development. This marks the second global collaboration between the two companies, following the worldwide success of Goddess of Victory: NIKKE.

A Shift Up representative stated, "This close collaboration with Tencent will serve as a vital stepping stone to further sharpen our global IP production competitiveness," adding that "specific details regarding Project Spirits will be released sequentially as development progresses."
