The SOOP Global Valorant League is returning this year.

SOOP has officially announced that the global Valorant esports league, 'SOOP Valorant League 2025' (hereinafter SVL 2025), will kick off on Tuesday, December 2. With Google Play joining as the main sponsor, they are introducing 'Google Play Points Diamond Tier-exclusive seating' for the duration of the season.

SVL is a global esports league played on Riot Games' tactical first-person shooter, 'VALORANT'. It has established itself as a stage where the world’s elite squads gauge their strength before the regular season. In fact, teams that have competed in this tournament in the past have gone on to achieve success in the Valorant Champions Tour (VCT) majors.

The 2024 iteration of the SVL recorded a cumulative viewership of 2.6 million, drawing significant attention from fans. Popular teams slated to compete in the VCT, the top-tier Valorant esports circuit, are expected to participate in SVL 2025.

SVL 2025 begins on Tuesday, December 2, with FNATIC taking on FULL SENSE, followed by T1 versus ZETA DIVISION. The action continues on Wednesday, December 3, as top-tier teams including DRX, SLT Esports, RRQ, and Gen.G compete.

The tournament will follow a group double-elimination format, with the top two teams from each group advancing to the Playoffs. From the semi-finals onward, the tournament shifts to a single-elimination format. Most matches are best-of-three, while the grand final will be a best-of-five to determine the champion.

SOOP will provide coverage in Korean, English, and Thai via the SOOP and SOOP global platforms. Vietnamese broadcasts will be handled by Onlive, while Chinese broadcasts will be streamed on Huya.
