As December rolls in, Cats & Soup has received a cozy Christmas-themed winter update to warm up your screen.

Neowiz announced on the 5th that they have rolled out a massive Christmas season update for Cats & Soup. Centered around the theme of 'Magical Christmas', the event runs through to January 7, with a sub-theme, the 'Sugar Fairy Festival', kicking off on December 18 and lasting until January 7.

The update introduces the new 'Sugar Fairy Forest' theme, complete with a dedicated NPC and hidden Easter eggs to pull you further into the experience. You can collect 'Lollipops' while playing, which can be swapped for limited-edition costumes, and a new limited cat, the 'Sugar Powder Maine Coon', will be available through in-game content until January 7.

Elsewhere, the 'Kitten Travel' event allows players to gather travel photo fragments to unlock six new destinations and two kitten costumes. Materials scavenged from the 'Wandering Workshop' can be exchanged for the new theme, friend characters, and event facilities. Furthermore, a mini-room community feature has been added, bringing quality-of-life improvements such as mini-room sharing, preset saving, and furniture layering.
