Nexon rolled out the Season 36 'Korea' update for its mobile racing title, 'KartRider Rush+,' on the 10th.

The update leans heavily into a Korean-inspired concept, drawing from local folklore and tradition. Players can get behind the wheel of 10 new karts, including the 'Sangun' and 'Palanquin' models, and choose from 8 new characters like the legendary Hong Gil-dong. To round out the aesthetic, the game introduces culturally thematic items such as the 'Bazzi Jeon Woo-chi Costume,' 'Bazzi Royal Dragon Robe,' and the 'Hibiscus Fairy Flying Pet.'

The team has also brought back classic 'Korea Theme Tracks' from the original game, reimagined for mobile. You can now drift through iconic domestic landmarks in new tracks dubbed 'Korea Dynamic Seoul,' 'Korea Busan Night,' and 'Korea Thousand-Year Gyeongju,' featuring the likes of Gwanghwamun, Cheomseongdae, and the Gwangandaegyo Bridge.

The update also raises the ceiling for progression: Rush Farm levels now cap at 105, and Ranch levels at 34, with the farm's fishing depth extended to 10M. Looking ahead to the 23rd, Nexon is launching 'Merge Town,' a new mode where you combine identical units to level up and clear stages. Completing your village will net you rewards like Batteries, Lucky Star Gems, and Secret Keys.

A series of events will celebrate the 'Korea' update. Until December 21, simply logging in or participating in ranked matches will earn you rewards like the 'Bibimbap Hair Ornament (Permanent),' 'Taegeuk Balloon,' and K-Coins. Through January 11, players can gather fragments via daily logins and ranked wins to trade for random loot, including the 'Seoul License Plate (Permanent)' and the grand prize, a 'Korea Profile Background (Permanent).'

Logging in twice a week or grinding in multiplayer and ranked matches will grant you the 'S36 Paragon Selection Box (Permanent/14-day).' Furthermore, until February 3, completing various Rush Farm missions will pay out up to 1.5 million Rush Farm Coins. Log in once by December 31 for 50 Batteries, or hit a three-day streak to claim 100.

If that isn't enough, finish the 'Korea Dynamic Seoul' track by December 23 to collect Taegeukgi flags, which can be exchanged for a 'Taegeukgi Hair Ornament (Permanent)' or a chance to snag one of 1,500 'Korea Theme Keyrings.'

During the same period, players can listen to the Korea theme OST playlist and vote for their favourite track for a chance to win more keyrings and Google Play gift codes.
