Leon S. Kennedy, the protagonist of previous titles, is set to return in 'Resident Evil Requiem'. Additionally, the game's primary antagonist, Victor Gidian, has been revealed.

The third trailer for Resident Evil Requiem was unveiled at The Game Awards on the 12th. The footage shows an aged Leon fighting off zombie-like enemies and protecting the protagonist, Grace.

Leon in Resident Evil Requiem shows the passage of time since 'Resident Evil RE:4' and now sports stubble. He appears to meet the protagonist, Grace, while investigating the villain and will assist her. Players will also be able to control Leon in certain segments, where he effectively dispatches enemies using firearms and an axe.

Meanwhile, the main antagonist, Victor Gidian, was also introduced. He lives in the basement of an old mansion he purchased and is referred to as 'Doctor' by his nurse. His lips appear to be missing due to surgery, and he wears peculiar, eye-patch-like spectacles.

Resident Evil Requiem is scheduled for release on February 27, 2026, for PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X/S, with official Korean language support.
