Gravity has officially launched the closed beta test (CBT) for its dark fantasy MMORPG, 'Requiem M', starting on the 17th.

The CBT runs from 10:00 AM on the 17th through the 24th for domestic users. You can participate by downloading Requiem M via the Google Play Store or by installing the CBT file through the Apple App Store's TestFlight.

Requiem M is a mobile reimagining of the hardcore MMORPG 'Requiem Online'. The original title—a home-grown IP by Gravity—was beloved for its grim aesthetic, distinct races, and combat that didn't shy away from blood and shadow. This mobile version inherits the core world-building and characters while ramping up the intensity with a variety of dungeons, guild content, accelerated leveling, and an unrestricted marketplace where everything from raw materials to characters can be traded.

The game is set in a world where the balance has shattered and various races are on the brink of collapse; survival is the only objective. You will encounter unique races such as the physically imposing Bartuk, the resilient and mentally fortified Kruxena, and the Turan, who adapt diverse combat styles to suit their own needs, offering a fresh take on character and class progression.

Gravity is also hosting a suite of CBT events. Log in daily to receive rewards like Creature Awakening Stones and mounts, or rack up activity points for additional goodies. They are also providing three daily push notifications, gifting 1,000 gems, two Perfect Sentinel DNA samples, and a 150% EXP potion each time.

If you fill out the survey after your session, you will earn items for the official launch. There is even a cross-promotion for players of Ragnarok Online and Ragnarok Zero. Additionally, you can join the official KakaoTalk open chat for quiz events, feedback rewards, and social media verification contests.

Bae Sang-woo, the project manager for Requiem M at Gravity, stated, "Requiem M takes the brutal charm and uncompromising style of the original and optimizes it for mobile devices to deliver an authentic hardcore experience." He added, "We are confident that both veterans of the original and newcomers to the hardcore MMORPG genre will be satisfied. We look forward to seeing everyone during this pre-launch CBT."
