Sony has taken the drastic step of purging over 1,200 games from a single developer off the PS Store in one fell swoop.

According to reports circulating across international communities and media outlets, the entire library from ThiGame has been wiped clean. Before this mass vanishing act, the studio had somehow managed to flood the store with around 1,200 titles, ranking them as the fourth most prolific publisher by volume of games registered.

ThiGame was known for churning out a conveyor belt of identical clones with titles like 'Jumping Fries', 'Jumping Taco', and 'Jumping Hotdog', merely swapping assets to mimic variety. Currently, their entire catalogue has vanished into the ether, and at the time of writing, neither Sony nor the developer has offered a peep of an official statement.

This isn't Sony's first rodeo with such clean-up operations. Back in February of last year, they dealt a similar hand to a developer called 'RandomSpin'. That studio was given the boot from the PS Store amidst heavy speculation that they were using AI or recycled assets to spam the platform with a mountain of low-quality titles in record time.
