Netmarble has rolled out a fresh SSR+ companion, [Witch Who Reads Fate] So-o, to celebrate the 2.5-year anniversary of Tower of God: New World, developed by Netmarble N2.

In the original lore, So-o is a member of the Red Witch clan with the uncanny ability to foresee the future. She’s also got a bit of a quirky personality, habitually comparing people to rice cakes because, well, she really likes rice cakes.

As an SSR+ grade supporter, So-o buffs your allies’ attack power by wielding Songpyeon and Blue Jade Fish. If you’re smart enough to stack your team with Blue attribute allies, her skill effects can ramp up to double their potency.

The update also introduces 'Revolution Fort,' a new content mode inspired by the iconic 'Rice Cooker' from the source material. It's a straightforward affair: clear stages to build up the pressure and snag your rewards.

We also have a new progression system dubbed 'Shinsoo Core.' It consists of three primary cores designed to maximise either offensive or defensive stats based on your combat style, allowing for some interesting synergy between Shinsoo Link levels and character compositions.

To mark So-o's arrival, there’s a flurry of activity until February 4, including special summons, attendance bonuses, and boost-up missions. For the 2.5-year milestone, you can grab Revolution Fragments and up to 900 [2.5th Anniversary] Non-stop SSR+ tickets over four weeks. Simply logging in nets you a chance at 28 SSR+ companions through various attendance and summon events.

Beyond that, the 'Anyway, Happy New Year' story campaign is live. Participating in this event lets you earn rewards like SSR+ Tower's Blessing Break Stones, titles, and Shiny Revolution Fragments.
