Studio Kerosene has released its arcade movement FPS game, Firestarters, into Steam Early Access on October 29.

This fast-paced title has players zipping around on rocket skates while blasting through hordes of murderous androids. The Early Access version includes the first of four total episodes, with the remaining episodes slated to arrive via free updates down the line. Firestarters Episode 1 is priced at 8,200 KRW in South Korea, though the developer plans to bump up the price as subsequent episodes drop.

Players step into the boots of Kera, a former juvenile delinquent turned inmate who finds themselves forced to compete as a fresh fighter in Steel, the world's most popular livestreamed gladiator bloodsport. Run by a syndicate, Steel cares about one thing and one thing only: pure, unadulterated entertainment. Forget about health pickups or ammo drops scattered around; players have to salvage whatever they need straight from the wreckage of downed androids. Survival demands relentless aggression and a commitment to scrubbing every objective clean.

Alex Harte, the lead developer at Studio Kerosene, remarked, "We wanted to build something that feels like a shot of adrenaline straight into the system. There are no safety nets in the arenas of Steel. The rapid movement mechanics force you to play aggressively and hunt down every objective, because the chase is quite literally the only way to stay alive."
