Netmarble announced that 'The Seven Deadly Sins: Origin,' an open-world RPG developed by Netmarble F&C, will be showcased at Taipei Game Show 2026, offering a hands-on demo for Taiwanese players.

The event runs from January 29 to February 1, and the game will be playable via a console demo build at the PlayStation booth. The demo includes early-game content featuring an original story, open-world exploration, and boss combat, with full support for Traditional Chinese.

Through its participation in the Taipei Game Show, Netmarble aims to evaluate its gameplay experience and localization quality, while gauging the title's potential in the Greater China market, including Taiwan.

'The Seven Deadly Sins: Origin' was selected by Sony last December as one of the '15 Most Anticipated PS5 Titles of 2026.' It was one of only two Korean games to make the list. Netmarble has actively showcased the game at major global events such as Gamescom and Tokyo Game Show, and has also conducted global closed beta tests.

The game is an open-world RPG based on the popular manga 'The Seven Deadly Sins,' which has recorded over 55 million copies in cumulative sales worldwide. Players can explore the continent of Britannia, engage in tag-team combat that allows for hero swapping during crises, perform powerful combination attacks, and enjoy action that changes based on weapon and hero combinations. The game also supports various multiplayer elements, such as forming parties with friends to explore the open world or challenging bosses together.

The game is scheduled for a simultaneous global launch this March on PC, mobile, and PS5. Players can participate in pre-registration on the official website to receive benefits that will assist with early-game growth.
