The expansion introduces the Warlock alongside the previously announced Paladin. While the Paladin relies on holy light, the Warlock uses chains, flames, and hellish wrath—a perfect contrast for the coming war. Beyond the class, the endgame is getting a significant overhaul. 'War Plans' will allow you to customise your activity paths, giving you total control over how you progress. Meanwhile, the new region of 'Skovos'—a landscape inspired by the ancient Mediterranean—awaits, packed with fresh quests, monsters, and the final confrontation with Mephisto.

For Diablo 2: Resurrected, the 'Reign of the Warlock' content is live as of the 12th. Players can now dive into the new endgame, where they can consume items to transform specific Acts into 'Terror Zones', cranking up the difficulty and rewards. Conquering a boss in these zones on Hell difficulty grants one of five mysterious statues, which can be combined to unlock a new boss fight: 'The Imposing Ancients'. Quality-of-life improvements have also arrived, including a loot filter, expanded stash tabs, and a chronicle system to track your treasure hunting escapades.

Finally, Diablo Immortal has unveiled its 2026 roadmap, headlined by the Maiden of Anguish, Andariel. The roadmap teases the Warlock class, new regions, fresh events, IP collaborations, and gameplay tweaks. The Diablo Immortal Warlock is set for a Summer 2026 release, rooted in forbidden Vizjerei magic and capable of dominating demons like Soul Seekers to crush foes. We are also seeing the return of 'Lut Gholein' from Diablo 2, split into the chaotic Lower District and the elegant High District.
