Nexon has just rolled out the fourth free update for the extraction shooter 'ARC Raiders', crafted by its subsidiary Embark Studios, titled 'Shrouded Sky'.

The update introduces a new environmental hazard: the 'Hurricane'. It's not just for show; the gale-force winds will hamper your movement, alter the trajectory of your throwables, and limit your visibility while drowning out crucial audio cues.

To make matters more interesting, two new ARC variants join the fray: the airborne 'Firefly' that wields a flamethrower, and the 'Comet', a massive, spherical menace that hunts you down before detonating.

Through the 'Weather Monitoring System' seasonal project running until 31 March, you can complete five stages of missions to earn special backpack charms and in-game currency. Nexon is also giving away the 'Surgeon Raider Deck' for free, featuring a doctor-themed outfit and new beard customisation options, alongside an expansion to the Dam map that adds a flooded generator hall and new related quests.

Additionally, the second 'Expedition Project' is underway until 1 March. You can secure permanent skill points and extra stash space, plus snag some rugged outfits and quirky 'cluck-cluck' cosmetic items. If you missed the first round or failed to claim every reward, the second expedition allows you to earn up to 10 skill points in total.
