Blizzard Entertainment announced on the 27th that it has opened applications for the 'Community Night' contest, which will headline the first day of BlizzCon 2026 this September. Community Night is a celebration of the passion, creativity, and talent of the Blizzard community, where participating artists and creators showcase their work to Blizzard fans and compete for top prizes in their respective categories.

Several key changes have been implemented for this year's contest. The judging panel has been expanded to include up to five members depending on the contest. The total prize pool has been increased to $33,000 (approximately 47 million KRW). Additionally, the Talent contest is making a return, promising to make the stage even more vibrant by showcasing the artistry of exceptional performers.

The contests are divided into four categories: Costume, Art, Short Film, and Talent. In the Costume contest, participants can showcase their original designs and craftsmanship by entering one of four sub-categories: Best Artisan, Large Creation, Best Special Effects, or Best Duo. The four category winners will then compete for the Best in Show award. The Art contest allows participants to unleash their creativity with original works inspired by the Blizzard universe, ranging from physical sketches to digital pieces.

The Short Film contest involves creating an original short film under three minutes that utilizes characters, scenes, or themes from the Blizzard universe. In the Talent contest, participants can take center stage to showcase their skills, including music performances, dance, juggling, acrobatics, or other various talents inspired by Blizzard.
