Krafton is hosting the 'PUBG 9th Anniversary Festival', a large-scale fan event to celebrate the 9th anniversary of its game, PUBG: BATTLEGROUNDS. The event will be held on March 28 at the Korea University Hwajeong Tiger Dome under the main theme 'STILL HERE, ALLDAY'. This event was organized to commemorate the time spent with users who have been on the battlefield with PUBG for the past nine years.

Various programs will be operated at the 'PUBG 9th Anniversary Festival'. An offline experience zone consisting of interactive booths and mini-games has been prepared, and fan meet-ups featuring PUBG developers, users, and partner influencers will take place. On stage, an orchestral performance commemorating the 9th anniversary, emote dances, and a magic show by illusionist Lee Eun-gyeol will be presented. Additionally, the group ALLDAY PROJECT will hold a solo performance for the finale.

All attendees will receive a welcome kit. The kit includes a 9th-anniversary limited edition glow stick, a metal dog tag keychain, a sticker pack, and a 2,000 G-Coin coupon. Ticket reservations are available through Melon Ticket, with pre-booking starting on February 27 at 8 PM. Users wishing to pre-book must log in with their Krafton ID, verify their PUBG account, and complete the pre-booking code issuance process before authenticating the code on Melon Ticket. General ticket sales begin on March 6 at 8 PM.

PUBG was first released via Steam Early Access on March 23, 2017. The game established itself as a representative title of the battle royale genre, recording a record-breaking 3.25 million concurrent players on Steam.
