Blockchain company BPMG has signed an agreement with game developer Grampus to co-own and jointly operate the intellectual property (IP) of the cooking simulation game 'Cooking Adventure'.

Cooking Adventure is a cooking simulation game that has recorded 33 million downloads worldwide. It is a casual mobile game where players manage various restaurants, prepare dishes, and satisfy customers. In Korea, it is known as 'My Little Chef'.

Through this agreement, both companies will co-own the Cooking Adventure IP and cooperate as joint business partners. Global service operations, including game development, will be transferred to BPMG, which will take the lead in overall service management. Additionally, the entire development and operations team that has led the development of Cooking Adventure will join BPMG to continue live services and content updates.

The companies will also cooperate on platform expansion. They are pursuing the development of an HTML5 version that can be played on the web without a separate installation, as well as a release on Steam. Furthermore, they plan to develop a Web3 game based on the Cooking Adventure IP to expand BPMG's blockchain game ecosystem, GemHUB.

BPMG CEO Cha Ji-hoon stated, "This is a highly significant collaboration that secures a proven global game IP and experienced development personnel," adding, "Based on our joint IP ownership, we will pursue new platforms and content expansion to secure long-term growth momentum."

With this contract, BPMG has expanded its game business portfolio by adding the cooking simulation genre, following the existing titles serviced by its subsidiary Blomix, such as TalesRunner, Fortress 3 Blue, and the EOS series.
