Krafton is hosting the PUBG Global Series (PGS) Circuit 1 for its flagship title, PUBG: BATTLEGROUNDS. This global esports tournament brings together the world's top-tier teams. The event is structured over three weeks, featuring 12 global partner teams and 12 teams selected through regional series, totaling 24 squads competing for glory.

This year, the PUBG Global Series features a shift to a third-person perspective (TPP) format, accompanied by an overhaul of broadcast production and commentary styles. New broadcast formats, such as individual player screen reveals and region-specific observing, have been introduced. The total prize pool for the tournament is $300,000 (approximately 432.6 million KRW). In addition to the prize money, participating teams can earn PGC points, which are essential for qualifying for the PUBG Global Championship (PGC), the premier international PUBG esports tournament held at the end of the year.

The PUBG Global Series Circuit 1 consists of three series, with results from each tournament being cumulative. Series 1 runs from the 18th to the 22nd, starting with a Group Stage, followed by a Winner Stage, a Survival Stage, and finally, the Finals. In this stage, all 24 teams start on equal footing to establish the initial circuit rankings.

Series 2 follows from March 26 to March 29. Team seeds are determined based on the results of Series 1, providing teams with a new opportunity to climb the rankings. Finally, the series finale, Series 3, took place from April 2 to April 5. Based on the results of the previous two series, the top 16 teams advanced to the Grand Finals to compete for the circuit championship title.

All matches were held at 7:00 PM KST, with the opening day on March 18 starting at 2:00 PM for the Group Stage. Matches can be viewed through official channels, including the PUBG Esports official YouTube channel, SOOP, and CHZZK.
