The tournament features a total prize pool of 20,000,000 KRW, and the winner will secure a spot as the Korean representative at the 'Shadowverse World Grand Prix 2026'.

Applications for the 'Shadowverse Korea Open 2026 Season 1' are accepted until the 26th. Any resident of South Korea aged 16 or older as of the qualifier date is eligible to participate. The qualifiers will be held online on April 4th and 5th. The tournament will follow an 8-round Swiss system with a best-of-three (BO3) format using two decks, applying a 'retire' rule where players are eliminated after two losses.

The top 8 players from the qualifiers will advance to the offline finals on April 19th, which will be held behind closed doors. The finals will be broadcast live on the official Shadowverse channel, while the qualifiers will not be streamed. The total prize pool is 20,000,000 KRW, with 10,000,000 KRW for the winner, 5,000,000 KRW for the runner-up, 1,400,000 KRW for 3rd and 4th place, and 550,000 KRW each for 5th through 8th place.

The winner of this season will be granted a ticket to the 'Shadowverse World Grand Prix 2026'. This international event gathers champions from around the world to compete for a grand prize of 100 million JPY (approximately 935,000,000 KRW).
