Netmarble Monster announced on the 2nd that they’ve launched Tomak: Save the Earth Regeneration on the Epic Games Store to celebrate the title's 25th anniversary. Originally crafted by the Korean studio Seed9 back in 2001, the game follows Evian, the Goddess of Love, who finds herself in quite a predicament. After the heavens decide humanity isn't worth keeping around, Evian tries to intervene, only to have her body stripped away by disapproving deities. You end up with just her head—albeit a lovely one—sitting in a flower pot in your room, kicking off one of the most unconventional cohabitation scenarios in gaming history.

You're essentially on a three-year clock. It’s all about maintaining that delicate balance through conversation, constant care, and—yes—regularly watering your deity to ensure she survives. Your choices and the events you navigate over these three years will dictate her stats, ultimately determining whether she successfully resurrects or if the world simply meets its messy end.

When it first debuted, Tomak: Save the Earth garnered a cult following thanks to its bizarre premise, rock-solid mechanics, and some genuinely charming character art. It was successful enough to spawn a complete edition on the PS2 in 2003, even picking up an Excellence Award at the Korea Game Awards that same year.

To mark the launch, Tomak: Save the Earth Regeneration is available for free on the Epic Games Store until the 17th. After that, it will be priced at a permanent 9,200 won.
