Since House Flipper went free for a limited time on the 4th, it has smashed its all-time peak for concurrent players, eight years after its original Steam debut.

This marketing move was rolled out as a precursor to the upcoming House Flipper Remaster Collection. While the game previously struggled to crack 20,000 concurrent players, the free giveaway sent numbers soaring to 70,000 on day one, eventually climbing to a staggering 90,666 by the 6th.

Slated for a Q2 release this year, the House Flipper Remaster Collection promises overhauled graphics and systems, bundling original DLCs with fresh items. You can also look forward to new characters, full voice support, and expanded narrative elements. The free offer and playtest are running until 2:00 AM on the 7th (KST).

Beyond the freebie, the ongoing 'Home & Housing Game Festival' on Steam has brought a wave of discounts. It’s not just the DLCs seeing price cuts—the sequel, House Flipper 2, and other related titles are all enjoying a spot in the sale.

Elsewhere on the Steam global charts, Subnautica—also gearing up for a sequel—has clawed its way to 8th place, bolstered by free trials and discounts. Ark: Survival Ascended also snuck into the rankings, thanks to a hefty 75% price drop.

In the daily peak concurrent players top 20, Apex Legends has surged back to 5th place with 273,784 players. Weekend activity also saw Black Desert climb to 6th with 236,253 players, while Deadlock broke into the top 20 with over 90,000 users, reflecting a general weekend uptick across the board.
