The rhythm game community is mourning the loss of 'LeeZu' (Lee Jun-young), a composer who gifted us with countless iconic tracks over the years.

Composer Xeon (Wang Jung-hyun) shared the somber news on his social media on the 4th, stating, "My friend and a composer for DJMAX whom we all love, LeeZu, has embarked on a solitary journey." He added, "Please remember the music he left behind and offer your condolences so he does not feel lonely on his way. May he rest in peace."

LeeZu first made his mark on the scene with DJMAX Technika 2, operating under the alias 'P'sycho-Remi.' He carved out a unique niche by blending blistering rock sounds with electronic textures, showcasing a versatility that spanned numerous genres across his solo albums and collaborative works. He continued to be a mainstay in the series, contributing consistently to various titles including the DJMAX series and Tapsonic Bold under the name LeeZu.

Beyond the studio, he was a familiar face who engaged warmly with fans through his YouTube channel and the DJMAX community. His contribution, the track 'IWTEYI,' was featured on the DJMAX Entertainment compilation album 64514, released in June 2025, and has since been added as a playable track in DJMAX Respect V.
