The LCK, Korea’s premier League of Legends esports circuit, is stepping out of its home comfort zone. For the first time in history, the league is taking its regular season matches abroad to Hanoi, Vietnam.

Riot Games has confirmed that Week 6 of the 2026 LCK regular season will be held at both the LCK Arena in LoL Park, Jongno, Seoul, and the Hanoi Exhibition Center in Vietnam. During this period, Kiwoom DRX is set to face Gen.G and Hanwha Life Esports in Vietnam from Friday the 8th to Sunday the 10th.

Kiwoom DRX is hosting the '2026 Kiwoom DRX Homefront' at the Hanoi Exhibition Center from the 8th to the 10th. This marks a historic milestone as the first overseas roadshow hosted by an LCK team and the first time an official regular season match is held outside of Korea. Gen.G and Hanwha Life Esports will face Kiwoom DRX on the 8th and 10th, respectively, while a fan festa featuring music performances and interactive programs is scheduled for the 9th.

Kiwoom DRX snapped a five-match losing streak on the 2nd with a 2-0 victory over Nongshim RedForce. Mid laner 'Ucal' Son Woo-hyeon delivered an outstanding performance with 21 kills across two sets, earning his first Player of the Match (POM) honor of the regular season. Having broken their long losing streak, Kiwoom DRX aims to build momentum against top-tier teams with the support of local Vietnamese fans.

The final day of Week 6, Sunday the 10th, features a clash between T1 and Dplus KIA. Both teams have maintained an identical win count of 6-4 throughout the season. Dplus KIA has held the upper hand in key moments, including a dramatic reverse sweep against T1 in the 2026 LCK Cup playoffs and a 2-1 victory in the first round of the regular season.

Dplus KIA will face KT Rolster on Thursday the 7th before taking on T1 on the 10th. Currently in fifth place following a loss to Gen.G, a successful rebound against KT Rolster and T1 would provide a stepping stone to climb back into the top three. Conversely, T1 is looking to bounce back from their recent loss to Hanwha Life Esports and secure a win against Dplus KIA to solidify their position in the upper ranks.

The seemingly impenetrable fortress of KT Rolster has shown cracks. After losing to Hanwha Life Esports and the lower-ranked OK Savings Bank BRION, they finished Week 5 with a 0-2 record. For KT Rolster, who are aiming to reclaim the top spot, the Week 6 matchups against Dplus KIA and BNK FearX will be crucial to restoring their pride.

Although KT Rolster defeated both teams in the first round, these upcoming matches will not be easy. Dplus KIA proved their competitiveness by defeating both Gen.G and T1 in the first round, and BNK FearX, despite a slow start in the regular season, remains a formidable team that finished as runners-up in the 2026 LCK Cup after defeating T1 and Dplus KIA.

The mid lane duels are also worth noting. KT Rolster's 'Bdd' Gwak Bo-seong will face 'ShowMaker' Heo Su, who is set to become the fourth player in LCK history to reach 700 games, during the match against Dplus KIA on the 7th. Then, in the 'Saturday Showdown' on the 9th, 'VicLa' Lee Dae-kwang, who won the Rookie of the Year award while playing for KT Rolster in 2022, will face his former team.

The 2026 LCK regular season features two matches per day from Wednesday to Sunday. All matches are broadcast live via online platforms such as Chzzk and SOOP. Tickets for live viewing can be purchased via NOL Ticket, with reservations opening 216 hours (9 days) before each match.
