The stage for 'Rose & Camellia ~La-Mulana Edition~' (hereafter Rose & Camellia), a game where ladies engage in rather brutal 'slap-fights' using Joy-Cons, is set to expand globally. An online multiplayer update is scheduled for this coming June.

During the 'PLAYISM Game Show' held on the 10th, Playism unveiled an online battle trailer for the Switch action title it publishes, Rose & Camellia. In this game, you step into the shoes of Reiko Tsubakikoji, a noblewoman who settles disputes with other ladies through the art of the slap.

The game launched on Nintendo Switch in September 2023, featuring motion controls that have you swinging your Joy-Con to deliver a stinging blow to your opponent's cheek. It even caught some attention for its knuckle-shaped peripheral that makes gripping the controller a bit more immersive.

With the online update arriving this June, you will finally be able to challenge players from around the world to a duel. The new teaser video gives us a glimpse of these ladies squaring off in high-stakes matches.
