Alongside this, we've seen a balance patch targeting all five classes, each receiving buffs. While one might expect this to shift the meta, the behaviour of the Korean and global regions has been quite different. Korean rankers seem to be taking a 'wait and see' approach, whereas the global region has wasted no time in swapping jobs. One common denominator, however, is the rising share of Grim Reaper.

In the Korean region, eight servers saw shifts in rankings. Generally, the popularity of Carnage is on the wane. Rankings for Carnage fell in 'Olga 2 - Lilith 1 - Cain 1 - Ridel 3 - Carp 3'. The only server where it climbed was Kizaya 1, where it managed to snatch the 3rd place spot previously held by Akasha.

The patterns in Olga 2, Ridel 3, and Carp 3 are remarkably similar. Last week, they shared the same stake as Bloodstain, but now Bloodstain has broken away to claim its own position. Lilith 1, in particular, saw a 6.7 percentage point drop. Furthermore, while the top three across these servers were consistently '1st Viper - 2nd Bloodstain - 3rd Carnage', the 2nd server saw Bloodstain overtake Viper, effectively shattering the established pattern.

Overall Class Distribution

Lately, the ranker share in the Korean region for Vampir hasn't seen much volatility, oscillating within a roughly 0.3 percentage point range. It feels as though the popularity of classes has firmly solidified. The real action is among the melee classes: Bloodstain, Akasha, and Grim Reaper. Bloodstain gained 0.6 percentage points at the end of April but has since retreated over the last two weeks, losing 0.3 percentage points twice. As the class with the most rankers, it is highly sensitive to the shifting tides of other classes.

Akasha had been steadily increasing its share but hit a ceiling this week at 13.8%. It seems to have reached its peak. Instead, it is now engaged in a fierce battle for ranking spots against other classes on the server-specific charts, frequently appearing in the Top 3. Conversely, Grim Reaper is rarely seen on these charts, making its 0.3 percentage point rise quite a surprise. It would be wise to wait and see if Grim Reaper can maintain this momentum before drawing any definitive conclusions.

Global Class Distribution

The global region seems to be reacting rapidly to the class change event, with a massive redistribution of shares among melee classes. Akasha dropped by 1.5 percentage points and Bloodstain by 1.4, while Grim Reaper surged by 2.3 percentage points. While the overall hierarchy hasn't shifted yet, the increasing influence of Grim Reaper is undeniable. It will be interesting to see if it continues to gobble up market share and climb the ranks.

This is grim news for Bloodstain, which has been trending downward in the global region. Having already lost its 3rd place spot to Carnage last week, it now faces a significant loss in its share. Carnage, on the other hand, is slowly clawing its way up the charts. We shall keep a close eye on how the popularity and distribution evolve in the global Vampir scene.

All-Server Clan Ranking

Last week, Heupheuldan climbed to the top of the Vampir clan rankings. With approximately 15.01 million cumulative experience points, they pushed Myth to second place. Heupheuldan has since defended its title, pushing its cumulative experience to about 15.42 million. Myth saw a slight decline, while Sashin slid three places down to 6th. This opened the door for Sparta A, Abigail, and Strange People to each climb one spot.

The mid-to-lower ranks are even more chaotic. Battle Tribe and Romantic Family A jumped 3 spots, Lucky People climbed 6, and Death rose 5. Furthermore, Jin-goon and Healing have entered the chart, while the previous rankers Cheohyeong and Wolhadan have plummeted. With top-tier clans disappearing, moving servers, or passing the torch, the recent power struggles in Vampir are clearly reflecting in the clan rankings.

Vampir Meca Ranking User Poll

The latest Vampir poll saw higher participation than usual, likely due to the weight of the topic. We asked about the appropriate cycle for distributing restoration tickets, and 148 users weighed in. Interestingly, we ended in a tie for first place: one camp wants a 'fixed quarterly distribution', while the other argues that 'maintaining scarcity via a longer cycle is better'. The community is clearly split.

On the other hand, the least popular sentiment was 'just give us a lot', and the subjective comments section was telling. One notable take was: 'I like getting restoration tickets, but I don't want them to be a monetization product.' No matter how they are delivered, players clearly prefer them as event rewards or distributions.
