The class distribution has remained largely unmoved this week, with even the popular picks shifting by only a marginal 1% point, and the less-played classes staying exactly where they were.

However, the drop in average combat power was rather sharp. The class average for attack power plummeted by roughly 210,000, while defense fell by about 89,000. Considering this metric usually follows a steady upward trajectory, this sudden dip is quite the anomaly. It seems players are hunkering down to focus on 'internal growth content' in anticipation of a major update. Once the new class drops and the game picks up steam again, we expect these figures to bounce back quickly.

Level/Attack Power Rankings and Class Preferences for the new 'Unsudataeng' server

The 'Unsudataeng' server—the youngest of the lot—is seeing a surge in Hongmun Level 92 rankers. All of our Top 10 players have now hit the level 91 milestone, with four at level 92 and six at level 91, all racing for dominance. Meanwhile, the competition for the top spot in attack power has hit a bit of a stalemate. With last week’s leader—who surpassed 6.49 million—vacating the throne, 'Reaper' has claimed the top spot with 5.85 million.

The class distribution among the top 200 players remains as quiet as ever. Aside from a 0.5% point rise in Gunners, the top 5 classes are keeping their status quo. Down the ranks, Warriors, Assassins, and Blade Masters are struggling to break into the top tier.

Mythic Guardian Spirit special option statistics

Mythic Guardian Spirit stats are notoriously volatile, depending on when you catch them. Our snapshot from May 19th, 4 PM, shows a clear tilt toward PvP. 'Seonghwajo' saw a 4% point increase, while 'Torimwang' dropped by 7%—the former being a PvP staple and the latter focused on PvE.

The rising usage of 'Dueoksini' is also clear evidence of the shift toward PvP. Players are leaning into these for survivability, with 'Breath of Life Dueoksini' proving the most popular. While a 4% point shift sounds minor, for a spirit that usually sits in the single digits, it is a significant leap. We’ll see if this momentum holds next week.

Guardian Spirit combination statistics based on leaders

Since the Guardian Spirits are pivoting to PvP, it stands to reason the Guardian Spirits would follow suit. PvP-focused leaders like 'Fleet Admiral Eun Gwang-il' are seeing increased usage. The biggest jump goes to 'Yeokwang Hong Seok-geun' with a 6% point increase—another choice geared toward staying alive longer. While an attack-heavy set led by Eun Gwang-il remains the king of the meta, defensive survival builds are slowly but surely closing the gap.

Ranker Setup of the Week

Overall Warden attack power #1 'HammerBro'

The Warden, once a force to be reckoned with on the battlefield, has been struggling for some time. It fell out of favor ages ago and is no longer even in the Top 10 for ranker class distribution. It’s firmly in the 'off-meta' category now. With balance adjustments making the competing Warrior class more popular, the Warden's space has shrunk even further.

When a class is in this state, it’s the perfect time for true artisans to shine. 'HammerBro' from the Gyeonggukjisaek server is clearly one of those dedicated few. While we don’t know how long they’ve been maining the class, holding the #1 spot in attack power for all Wardens is proof enough of their skill.

The build philosophy is classic Warden: survival first. HammerBro is equipped with 'Breath of Life Dueoksini' to bolster damage mitigation and reduction, and their gear refinements focus heavily on defense, block, and critical damage reduction. Interestingly, despite the defensive focus, most rankers usually opt for penetration on weapons and rings, but HammerBro has gone all-in on critical defense and accuracy. It shows they are fully committed to the tank life. It makes one wonder just how much of a nuisance they are in actual combat.

B&S Revolution User Poll

B&S Revolution dropped their 2026 update roadmap during the last showcase, and it’s fair to say players are excited about the quarterly milestones. We polled players on which quarter they are most looking forward to, and Q3 took the crown with 47.9% of the vote. Much of that hype seems to stem from the new 'Gwi-cheon' unique grade gear, the new 'Yong-gwon-sa' class, and the Hell mode dungeons.

Second place went to Q4, which marks the game's 8th anniversary, complete with a new class, story, and region. Q2 came in last, featuring the first Mythic dungeon, 'Venomous Garden', and a simplified class change system. It seems that because it’s the closest, the excitement is already being overshadowed by the longer-term plans. Either way, it looks like a busy year ahead.
