Hearthstone's next expansion, 'Escape from Dalaran', is set to launch on July 8th, Korean Standard Time.

The backdrop for this upcoming expansion is the high-security prison 'The Violet Hold', located in Dalaran. Notorious inmates are plotting their escape, and we'll see a host of familiar faces like 'Warden Maiev Shadowsong' and 'Vanessa VanCleef'. On top of that, 135 new cards are being introduced, complete with the new 'Prepare' keyword. Get ready for some fresh mechanics, including the Legendary minion 'Rule Breaker' which allows you to play duplicate Legendary cards and activate a second Hero Power.

Ahead of the expansion's release, new events and quests are also rolling out. The 'Jailbreak' event runs until the 17th, followed by the 'Lockdown' event which continues until July 8th, offering various rewards. Furthermore, a new Legendary quest chain will be available from patch 35.6 until the 'Escape from Dalaran' launch on July 8th.

Meanwhile, 'Anomalies' are making a comeback in Battlegrounds. Anomalies are tavern transformation effects that apply to all players at the start of the game, featuring seven new Anomalies, 17 returning ones, and five updated versions. To shake up the meta in the latter half of Season 13, there will also be updates to minions, tavern spells, and items.
