This new instalment boasts a variety of play modes. First up is 'Single Match', the series' flagship mode, allowing you to enjoy casual games with friends and family using real-life national teams and clubs. Then there's 'World Tour', where you can assemble your dream 'Original Team' and compete in global tournaments, aiming for world domination with your own squad. Additionally, the 'International Cup' mode challenges you in the world's biggest football festival, letting you vie for the title of world's best with your favourite national team.

Beyond that, the '6-a-side Football' mode is designed to help beginners adapt and progress through matches more quickly than the standard 11-a-side game. It also includes 'Stadium Voice' for in-game advice and an 'Easy Control' feature that triggers a slow-motion effect during shooting opportunities, making it simpler to score. A 'Rank System' has also been added, where you can learn and practice various techniques in actual matches, ensuring even newcomers can immerse themselves in the world of eFootball.

eFootball™ Kick-Off! can be enjoyed solo, or together with friends and family on a single Nintendo Switch 2 console. It also supports 'Shared Communication' (local wireless play), allowing one user who owns eFootball™ Kick-Off! to invite up to three additional players to join the game. The Korean commentary, also featured in previous eFootball titles, is included for an even more realistic match experience.
