NVIDIA CEO Jensen Huang, who is visiting Korea this week, is set to meet with Chairman Chang Byung-gyu and other key figures from Krafton. Discussions on physical AI are anticipated during the meeting.

Sources within the industry indicate that NVIDIA CEO Jensen Huang will be convening with Krafton Chairman Chang Byung-gyu, Chief AI Officer Lee Kang-wook, and others. Key agenda items are expected to include physical AI and humanoid robots related to 'Ludo Robotics,' an AI robotics firm established by Krafton this year, as well as NVIDIA's 'RTX Spark,' an Arm-based SoC for Windows unveiled at Computex in early June.

Krafton and NVIDIA have a history of collaboration in AI technology. The CPC (Co-Playable Character), revealed at CES 2024, was co-developed by the two companies as an 'NPC that can play with users,' built using NVIDIA's ACE technology. 'PUBG Ally,' which acts like a real person and interacts with users in Battlegrounds, was presented as a real-world example. Therefore, there's significant interest in what will be discussed during this year's meeting.

Meanwhile, CEO Jensen Huang is also scheduled to meet with NCSoft CEO Kim Taek-jin. NCSoft also boasts its own AI development subsidiary, NC AI, and on May 31st, it signed an MOU with POSCO DX for joint development and technical cooperation on robot foundation models. All eyes are on whether this meeting between the two leaders will lead to tangible collaboration between their respective companies.
