XD Global is set to host an offline fan event, 'Month of Promise, Beyond Horizon,' on the 27th and 28th to commemorate the 8th anniversary of the Korean server for the mobile title Azur Lane.

The venue for this gathering is the Abelop Hongdae main branch in Mapo-gu, Seoul. To keep things orderly and ensure a smooth experience for guests, the event will be strictly reservation-only and limited to adults. Admission is free, with booking opening on Naver at 12 PM on the 20th.

This event is essentially a 'thank you' note to the local players—or 'Commanders,' as they prefer to be called—who have stuck with the game since its local launch. The goal is to bring that peculiar in-game bond between player and character into the real world. By focusing on the 'Oath' system, the final stage of affection for one's ship-girls, the organizers have curated experiential content and fan programs that aim to recreate those in-game moments in a physical space.

Expect a series of hands-on missions to be completed alongside cosplayers scattered throughout the venue. Once you navigate through the program and finish all the tasks, you'll reach the final, special content piece. Naturally, there will also be plenty of opportunities to snap a photo with the cosplayers.

There is also an exclusive pop-up merchandise shop prepared specifically for 'Month of Promise, Beyond Horizon.' Expect more details on the swag to drop on the official Azur Lane Naver Cafe soon. Attendees can also tuck into cafe drinks and desserts, and every visitor will walk away with a small gift as a token of appreciation.
