Look, mark your calendars for June 28th, as the 'MSI (Mid-Season Invitational)', the biggest League of Legends event of the first half, kicks off. Representing the LCK are Hanwha Life Esports and T1, but standing in their way—and threatening to snatch the trophy—is the formidable LPL squad, Bilibili Gaming (BLG).

Since drafting head coach Yang 'Daeny' Dae-in, BLG has bolstered its roster with the return of veteran jungler 'Xun' Peng Li-Xun and the acquisition of 'Viper' Park Do-hyeon, which has clearly sharpened their edge. They have been utterly dominant, sweeping both LPL Split 1 and 2, and even hoisting the trophy at the First Stand tournament back in March. Little wonder, then, that they currently sit atop the global power rankings, leaving T1 and Hanwha Life Esports in their wake.

With this MSI taking place in Daejeon, the local LCK faithful are understandably buzzing with anticipation. If we want an all-LCK final, both T1 and Hanwha Life Esports have a mountain to climb in toppling BLG. It is going to be a fascinating watch to see if our teams can prove the LCK’s enduring might.
