AEON is a payment settlement layer tailored for the AI agent economy, boasting over 2 million users. It was built to address the high fees, programming limitations, and settlement delays that traditional financial networks impose on AI agent collaboration. By leveraging key protocols such as x402, ERC-8004, Google A2A, and MCP, it facilitates autonomous and verifiable transactions between AI agents.

With this partnership, CROSS is now positioned to support seamless transactions for AI agents, applications, services, and users across both online and offline spaces. CROSS holders can utilize AEON Pay to spend their tokens at over 50 million merchants worldwide, covering everyday purchases such as QR-based shopping and dining.
