Nexon introduced a new Epic-grade secondary weapon, the Eclipse Shifter, to Counter-Strike Online on the 9th. The Eclipse Shifter is a top-tier piece of equipment that harnesses the power of light. Alongside this, the publisher also unveiled the 'Death Scudo', a new addition to the Epic Edition weapon lineup.

The Eclipse Shifter possesses unique capabilities for manipulating light-based energy. It features 'Radiance', a bullet type powered by light energy, and the 'Eclipse Phase' function, which shifts the user into a potent photon-infused state. The weapon is further characterized by special techniques such as 'Call Luminari', which summons a guardian spirit, and 'Eclipse Resonance', which optimizes energy efficiency.

To celebrate the arrival of this new weapon, Nexon is opening the 'Eclipse Shop' until September 3. Players can acquire the event currency, 'Shift Core', by completing in-game missions or using Epic Decoders. Collected Shift Cores can be exchanged for various items such as weapon selection boxes, paint patterns, and costumes.

Furthermore, a Creator Tournament will run until August 5. Popular creators 'Godae-bal-jabi' and 'Cherry-copter', who gained attention in previous events, will face off over four weeks with a different theme each round. Players can pledge their support for a creator on the official website to receive gifts, and those who successfully predict the winner will be entered into a draw for Nexon Cash. Additional rewards and prize draw entries are also provided based on accumulated support points.
