We have the final tally for Raven 2's Tower of Chaos Season 12. The final stretch was, to put it mildly, a bit chaotic. With Class Change tickets on sale from July 8th through the early hours of July 15th, our data collection on the evening of July 12th captured a landscape shifting under the feet of the top-ranked players. It seems our rankers were quite happy to swap professions, knowing they could always return to chase their personal bests later. It was a classic case of the season's end and the class change window colliding.

One name that caught our eye in the TOP 20 is 'VC원장º'. During our mid-season check, this player was a Gunslinger, holding the top spot with a blistering 50th-floor clear time of 7 seconds. By the season's end, however, 'VC원장º' had switched to an Elementalist. While the clear time improved by 2 seconds, the player stepped down from the throne to settle for a shared 2nd place. Still, 'VC원장º' managed to secure a spot for the Elementalist in the TOP 3. We look forward to seeing 'VC원장º' reach new heights next season.

Assassin representation has also seen a modest boost. Looking at the previous Tower of Chaos TOP 20 breakdown—10 Gunslingers, 3 Night Rangers, 1 Assassin, 3 Vanguards, 1 Elementalist, and 2 Destroyers—we noticed a dip in Gunslinger and Destroyer ranks, while two new Assassins and one Elementalist joined the fray. This shift is largely due to more Assassins successfully conquering the 50th floor toward the end of Season 12. We will dive deeper into this in the upcoming charts.

Tower of Chaos Class Ranking TOP 5

The Assassin class has been on quite the rollercoaster during Season 12 of the Tower of Chaos. We saw 14 players clearing the 50th floor at the start, only to see that number plummet to just 3 mid-season. Once again, those pesky Class Change tickets were the main culprit.

To put it in perspective, the Tower of Chaos Season 12 ran from May 27th to 4:59 AM on July 15th, coinciding with the 2nd Anniversary event of Raven 2. During this period, the developer offered a staggering four opportunities for players to change their class. The crucial detail here is that the Class Change window closed on the morning of June 24th, while our mid-season ranking was taken on June 28th. In short, the Assassin class had to weather two major shifts in Tower of Chaos representation due to these tickets.

Aside from the Assassin’s tumultuous journey, most other classes saw steady improvements in their clear times. Even if the peak didn't shift, the 2nd to 5th place rankers consistently shaved off seconds. However, the Destroyer, Gunslinger, and Warlord classes were notable exceptions.The departure of 'VC원장º' was a major factor here, leaving a gap that allowed other rankers to climb up the ladder by a step.

In the Warlord category, the original leader 'TOP디무' vacated the top spot, leaving 'ROYAL라크' and '이쑦쏙쑦쑦쑦쑦쑦쑦쑦쑦쑦' to share the throne. The Destroyer class saw a similar exodus with 'TOP투베12' stepping away. All three classes seem to be feeling the same pinch.

Tower of Chaos Class Population Share

Finally, let’s take a look at the class distribution among all Tower of Chaos rankers. The number of players clearing the 40th floor rose from 803 to 816. While most classes saw their share dilute due to this influx, four classes—Night Ranger, Divine Caster, Assassin, and Warlord—managed to secure gains. Given their status as traditional fan favorites, it’s no surprise that the number of Night Rangers and Divine Casters pushing past the 40th-floor barrier has grown so rapidly.

The Assassin has shown the most impressive growth curve, capturing a 1.1% point increase to overtake the Destroyer for the 8th spot. That’s an addition of 9 players to the ranks, effectively undoing the 1.5% point loss from the previous Raven 2 Tower of Chaos ranking. It has been, by all accounts, a wild season for the Assassin.
