On July 15, 'Game of Thrones: Kingsroad' kicked off its inaugural season, 'Northern Bannerman Selection: Frost and Steel'. In this season, players choose one of three houses—Umber, Hornwood, or Manderly—to defend the North. You then compete against other players by earning points to become the Chief Bannerman.

There are various ways to earn points. Among them, turning in 'Season Tokens' is a method anyone can participate in consistently. Below is an explanation of how to acquire and turn in Season Tokens to increase your score.

Hand in your Season Tokens at Winterfell

There are two types of Season Tokens. 'Coast Watcher’s Iron Shard' is earned by completing World Bosses and Challenger missions. 'Broken Coast Watcher’s Iron Shard' can be obtained in proportion to the RP consumed in field content, including Faction Hideouts.

Season Tokens can be turned in at Winterfell, one of the cities in the game. Three new NPCs have been added to the center of Winterfell. They are the 'Umber Envoy', 'Hornwood Envoy', and 'Manderly Envoy', who are responsible for handling the turn-ins for their respective houses. You can exchange Coast Watcher’s Iron Shards for 10 season points each, and Broken Coast Watcher’s Iron Shards for 1 season point each.

Coast Watcher’s Iron Shard

Coast Watcher’s Iron Shards are obtained by completing 'Remnant Forces, Challengers, World Bosses, and Regional Events (Raid Defense)'. The number of tokens rewarded does not depend on difficulty, but note that World Bosses and Regional Events can be started from 'Lv.1 Trainee'.

Among these, Remnant Forces only provide tokens in the Northern Winterfell region. Each group of Remnant Forces provides 3 tokens, and the boss that appears after defeating all three groups gives a total of 12 tokens. Therefore, you can obtain a total of 21 Coast Watcher’s Iron Shards by clearing all Remnant Forces.

Broken Coast Watcher’s Iron Shard

Broken Coast Watcher’s Iron Shards can be obtained from field content. Field content here refers to solo activities such as 'Faction Hideouts, Ferocious Animals, Weirwood Memories, and Smoking Shacks'. You are awarded tokens when you consume RP while selecting rewards after completing these activities.

The quantity of tokens provided is proportional to the RP consumed, regardless of field difficulty. Membership double-reward benefits also apply. For reference, field content selected as 'Today's Recommended Region' grants 1.5x the tokens. If your goal is token farming rather than other rewards, focus on Weirwood Memories or Smoking Shacks, which have shorter respawn times.
