Solo Raid 'Island Eater'

The Island Eater—our summer story event’s resident Rapture—is currently haunting the Solo Raid. With its 'Nikke Bonus Damage' ability, it is going to sting, so prioritizing cover is non-negotiable. You must also deal with its piercing barrier pattern; bring along Iron Code Nikkes to exploit its weakness. The Challenge Stage opens this Saturday, so keep an eye on community boards for optimal team compositions.

Full Burst Live

Following the success of the orchestra, the Full Burst Live offline event hits the stage from July 18 to 19. Tickets are available via YES 24, and the venue will feature exclusive merchandise. Expect special appearances from voice actor Kim Bona, Director Yu Hyung-seok, and sound director Cosmograph as they bring the Goddess of Victory: NIKKE soundtrack to life.

Simulation Room 101

If you want to push your Nikkes to their limits, skills are everything. Levelling them up is the only way to see a massive performance boost, yet we are constantly starved for skill materials. Currently, your reliable sources are the 'Simulation Room' and the bi-weekly 'Overclock' mode, alongside the occasional event reward.

New or even some seasoned Commanders have been flooding social media and community forums with questions about how to actually play the Simulation Room and Overclock. To help, an official creator from the Blabla community posted a handy guide. It covers everything from maxing out 25-stage Overclock rewards to general utility. Note that the guide is written in Japanese, so make sure to use the in-app translation feature.

Can I find 'Tove' in the Mileage Shop?

The Goddess of Victory: NIKKE Mileage Shop uses 'Gold' and 'Silver' mileage to trade for Nikkes or 'Spare Bodies' for limit breaks. Gold mileage covers current pick-ups and recent 'Treasures,' while Silver is strictly for specific distribution Nikkes and older roster members.

A curious Commander asked if 'Tove' could be snagged here. Unfortunately, no. While Tove was available for exchange when the Treasure update first dropped, the rotation has since moved on to newer units. If you are sitting on your mileage, keep in mind that a new Treasure is slated for July 23, so spend wisely.

Transformation! 'Ark Ranger Black'

Today’s spotlight is on Ark Ranger Black, a character from the in-game show 'Ark Ranger.' Drawing clear inspiration from iconic Tokusatsu series like 'Super Sentai' and 'Kamen Rider,' this hero grapples with the desire to be a real-world savior rather than just a TV screen icon.

Ark Ranger Black is a 'Tetra - Burst 3 - Wind Code - Rifle - Attacker' type. By destroying parts, the character triggers a 'Transformation' to buff up. During Full Burst, the character also grants a continuous damage boost to all 'Wind Code - Rifle' allies. In fact, Ark Ranger Black, 'Sakura: Bloom in Summer,' and 'Mana' are the only three who synergize with this playstyle, making them a staple in Wind-weakness Solo Raids.

The downside? Ark Ranger Black is highly situational. While formidable against bosses with respawning parts, the character becomes effectively useless against those without them. You will need to rely on the meta to cycle through Wind-weakness content. Ark Ranger Black is available in the standard recruitment wishlist, so set it accordingly if you are hunting for this hero.

The character finally stepped up as a true hero during the terror attacks leading up to the 3.5-year anniversary. A Union without the micromanagement: 'Gravity Star'

Gravity Star, a Level 7 Union, is scouting for new members. The rules are simple: '3 days of inactivity equals a kick - Participation in Union Raids is mandatory, and you must use proper elemental compositions - Chatrooms are available but entirely optional.' It is a chill environment without overbearing micromanagement. They have a few openings after a recent roster cleanup, so if you want to play at your own pace while still pulling your weight in raids, give them a shout.
