The July 14th update for Arthdal Chronicles: Three Factions (hereinafter Arthdal Chronicles) has shaken up our Meca Ranking charts in two distinct ways. With the addition of six new servers in the NEW WORLD region and the introduction of a special job change ticket, we have seen the Assassin class surge in popularity. These tickets are available for purchase until July 22nd at 06:00, so let's dive into how these new variables have impacted the landscape.

Assassin Class Dominance

First, looking at the combat power rankings for Arthdal Chronicles, the TOP 20 has seen movement in three areas. At the top, '维加' managed to boost combat power by approximately 10,200, climbing one spot. In the lower end of the top tier, positions 14 through 17 have fluctuated. '대머리반지적질' climbed to 14th, while '황진이' and '꼬마형' slipped by 2 and 1 spots, respectively.

When it comes to job distribution among rankers, the Assassin class has absolutely cleaned up. In the 1-100 bracket, the class gained 9 percentage points, widening the gap between it and the competing Warrior class to 14 percentage points. In the 101-500 bracket, we see an 'Archer - Assassin - Priest - Storm Mage' quartet forming. As the Assassin class suddenly increased its weight, the share for Archers and Storm Mages dipped. Both classes are now trailing the Assassin by more than 3 percentage points, while the Priest, having gained 1.2 percentage points, is nipping at the heels of the Assassin. It will be interesting to see how this four-way race unfolds.

What about the average combat power across all servers?

With the server transfer window closed, the average combat power rankings seem to have stabilized. The Yunseul server holds onto the throne, with Aramunhaesla and Ibna sitting comfortably in 2nd and 3rd place. The 4th and 5th spots have swapped, however, as the Chusando server overtook the Mihaje server. While Mihaje did increase its average combat power by about 8,000 compared to last week, Chusando surged by over 9,000.

Servers 13 through 18 are the new additions to Arthdal Chronicles. Among them, Ara leads the pack in the first tally with an average combat power of 57,976, followed by Vela at 56,828. Interestingly, the top-ranked player on the Vela server, '원이', holds 1,133 more combat power than the top player on Ara. The Lyra and Orion servers show a smaller gap between their TOP 20 average and the #1 ranker, likely due to being the most recent additions.

How are the alliance rankings shaping up?

Alliance ranking points in Arthdal Chronicles have skyrocketed. The atmosphere suggests a threefold increase compared to last week, with the 1st place First alliance jumping from approximately 19.7 billion to 67.5 billion points. This is largely due to the island tax cycle. Many rankers have been hunting on the islands, leading to fierce competition for island points, which in turn boosts alliance points and causes a tectonic shift in the charts.

Furthermore, the reorganization of alliances on the Yunseul server has had a significant impact. As of last Tuesday, most of the top rankers from the First, Baekya, and Hero alliances consolidated into the First alliance, with remaining members distributing among Baekya and Hero. This appears to be a strategic move to bolster the combat power of a single alliance, and we look forward to seeing how this pays off in future cross-content events.

This competition has significantly altered the rankings. Black Label more than tripled its alliance points, climbing two spots and displacing the former 2nd place Cheongryong and 3rd place '미친자'. The former 13th place Eungeo alliance boosted its score from 2.6 billion to 31.3 billion, soaring into 5th place. The chart is effectively oscillating based on the island tax cycle.

What about the island point rankings?

The island rankings are split between the top two—'천하천검' in 1st and '악몽(윤슬)' in 2nd—and everyone else. These two rankers secured their dominance last week with overwhelming scores and managed to add another 6 billion points to solidify their positions. From 3rd place onwards, the list mirrors the alliance rankings, as determined rankers push for points in this competitive environment.

It is worth noting the performance of '미친자' from Aramunhaesla, '노빠꾸' from Namdalsan, and the rankers from Chusando. '미친자' did not appear in the TOP 20 last week but snatched 3rd place as soon as the competition heated up. '노빠꾸' sits at 33rd in overall combat power, yet outperformed everyone else to claim 4th in island points. The Chusando server saw four rankers—'全民高渣', 'Farmer', '维加', and '메롱시티'—take 7th through 10th places. The high stakes of island taxes clearly triggered an intense battle.

Finally, for our Meca Ranking poll, we asked what you were most looking forward to in the July 14th update. A resounding 72.7% voted for the new servers, which likely explains why Orion and Lyra were opened so quickly. Following that, the expansion of the Dream Stone 3rd page and improvements to the synthesis/awakening systems took 2nd and 3rd place respectively.
