Look, let's be honest: NC's PC MMORPG Aion is back at it, rolling out a new field called Kaldor alongside a stash of Hero-grade accessories. Kaldor isn't just another patch; it's a unified battlefield where players from Deva 1 through 4 servers can clash in large-scale combat. If you are level 50 or above, you are eligible to jump in, regardless of your faction. The content hits the Deva servers first on 22 July, with the Ciel and Israphel servers following suit on 12 August.

The main event here is the Anoha Fortress Battle, kicking off every Wednesday and Saturday at 10 PM. The objective is classic enough: capture artifacts and take down the opposing faction's guardian. The good news? Participants get access to exclusive merchants selling consumables at a discount. Even better, there is no death penalty during the Anoha Fortress Battle, so you can throw yourself into the fray without the usual stress.

Aion is also introducing two new Hero-grade accessories that pack quite a punch with high stats and unique skills that proc during combat. The earring dishes out damage while shielding the user, and the ring gives your attack and casting speed a welcome boost. You can get your hands on these rare items by participating in the Anoha Raid, a boss-hunting gauntlet that opens immediately after the Anoha Fortress Battle wraps up.

To celebrate, NC is running a 'March to Kaldor' event. Until the maintenance on 29 July, slaying monsters in the Kaldor field gives you a chance to snag 'Kaldor’s Treasure Chest,' which drops items like Transcendent-grade Stigma shards, equipment shards, and Scrolls of Speed.
