Smilegate has introduced a new limited-time summer hero, Ove, to the mobile turn-based strategy RPG Epic Seven, developed by Super Creative.

Ove takes centre stage in the special summer side story, 'Show Me Even the Hidden Depths.' As an assistant to the Skuggiheim information broker Birgitta and a professional photographer, Ove embarks on a journey to track down Harsetti, the King of Shadow Elves. During the investigation of the coastline, Ove encounters a unique narrative where latent inner desires begin to surface.

Ove's kit is designed around the photographer theme, specializing in restricting enemy actions. The third skill, 'Eternal Moment,' removes two buffs from the target while applying Stun and Restriction—debuffs that effectively lock the enemy's action gauge.

In the heat of battle, Ove can slip out of targeting range via a stealth effect. By chaining this with the second skill, 'Film Fiesta,' Ove gains a protective barrier against skill damage, significantly boosting survivability. 'Film Fiesta' also grants the team a 'Surge' effect, which inflicts additional fixed damage.
